Let me speak to your comment using an example. Let’s consider Iran as a family. Shah and his administration is the father of that family, and people are the children. Who has the main responsibility in a family? Without denying the role of the children especially the grownups (ie, intellectuals in our example), isn’t the main responsibility of what road this family takes with the parents? If you agree with my answer to this question then we can conclude that we are all responsible for what happened to our country and we need to put our petty grievances aside and try to find a solution with the understanding we were all at fault.
I want to bring your attention to the above quote from your comment and ask you who was responsible for not having an advanced, democratic society. Or put it more accurately, who had the main responsibility? At least, after the Khordad ۱۵th ۱۳۴۲, the late Shah was in full control.

I am in complete agreement with you latest comment to our dear friend Hasan. And if that is possible, I think you are both saying the same thing. The rest is history, as they say.
Also, apologies to Shahram khan az Tehran, inham be Farsi. Jenan-e Shahram khan, be shoma etminan midaham ke qasd poz dadan nist, va sad albatteh sar-e shomar dard avardan ke aslant sohbatash ra ham nakonid. Man be shakhseh, ehteram bishatari baray-e kasani ka dar Iran hastand daram, dar koll. Kholaseh khastam beguyam ke ellat, nadashtan-e dastresi be fant-e Farsist va kami ham tanbali.
Vali Shahram jan, man ham gah mesle shoma fekr mikonam, vali dar kol in ra ham midanam ke nemishavad hameh ra be yek chub bast. Dar har goruh, dasteh, nahleh, mazhat, din, ideology, race, tork, fars, baluch, kord, etc, etc……………. hameh jur adam hastand.
Hamin irad ra man be Yek Azarbayjani daram vaqtikeh miguyand “ma Hamish in ra migoftim….” In “ma” kist? Ishan va kasani ke mesle ishan miandishand. Aya qeyr as inast? Khob porsheshe man inst. Aya hameyeh ahle har jayi ke ishan khodeshan ra dar hambastagi-e fekri ba an mibinannd, hameh hamin ra migoftand? Mossalaman, paspkh in khahad bud ke, na, hameh nemidanstand. Pas dorest nist jam’ bebandim nazart-e shakhsi khod ra.
